One Directions ‘Best Song Ever’ Is Available To Pre-Order – Get It Now!

Have you gotten over the shock news of yesterday yet?

One Direction sprung a huge surprise over everyone in the world by announcing a  BRAND NEW SINGLE called ‘Best Song Ever’, which was made available to pre-order from midnight last night.

We certainly weren’t expecting that, were you?

The song was written by Ed Drewett along with John Henry Ryan, Julian Bulian and Wayne Hector. Ed is a British singer-songwriter famous for having written two of The Wanted’s biggest hits – ‘All Time Low’ and ‘Glad You Came’, and was recently interviewed by our sister site OnePopz.

We got to hear a short clip of the song yesterday in the official movie trailer which you can watch again below:

The EP on iTunes contains four songs, three being mixes of ‘Best Song Ever’ and the other being a live version of ‘Kiss You’.

The official 1D Facebook page started teasing us with a few messages yesterday, starting off with:

The guys have some very exciting music news for you later today. STAY TUNED for the announcement… 1DHQ x

Followed by a message from Nialler, revealing details of the new single:

Hey guys… we’ve got a little something we wanted to share with you… Nialler xx

But it wasn’t until 4:35pm that we were treated to the new movie trailer:

Anyone fancy seeing the full length ‘This Is Us’ trailer? You do…?! Ok then… 1DHQ x

Twitter went mad when news of the song and trailer broke, sending the hearts (and ovaries) of Directioners into overdrive.

The name of 1D’s new song is pretty intriguing, and reminds us of a recent video we made:

We have to admit that we felt a little teary watching the movie trailer – did anyone else feel like that?

Here’s what the 1D boys were tweeting about yesterday.

Harry tweeted a photo, saying: “Asked the waiter to take a picture of us all at dinner, we got this.”

His next tweet said: “The Rolling Stones.”

Meanwhile, Niall said: “unbelievable experience tonight…massive thanks to @sallywood @ronniewood and @therollingstones a great gig..and for being so nice tonight”

He then posted this photo:

He also tweeted: “Hell yeah! Shit went down in Washington last night ! The stones were on fire!”

There was big news yesterday with the announcement of new One Direction single “Best Song Ever” and a new full length trailer for “This Is Us”, featuring a small preview of the track.

Niall tweeted: “New news! I love big news ! Especially about music ! Wohoooooo”

Louis said: “Don’t forget you will hear something new in the #1DOfficialMovieTrailer at 4:30 GMT @1DThisIsUs”

Niall then posted a YouTube video, saying: “Hey guys… we’ve got a little something we wanted to share with you…”

He then said: “Wohooooooo ! Love this day already”

“Yes ! #bestsongever is trending! This is exciting !”

“You can pre order our new single Best Song Ever tonight at 12am GMT http://smarturl.it/1DBestSongEver”

Liam tweeted: “10 minutes to goooooooooo until you can listen to something new from us #1DOfficialMovieTrailer  ”

The trailer was then posted, featuring a small clip of the awesome new single.

Zayn tweeted: “Well – what did you guys think?  x”

Harry wrote: “So what did you think of the trailer?”

The final tweet of the day came from Niall who said: “Philly we’re comin”

Who’s Got The Best Moves In One Direction? Dance Group Diversity Judge Them!

Do Harry, Niall, Liam, Louis and Zayn have THE moves?

No, probably not. I mean it’s no secret that the boys aren’t the best moover-groovers… but, just how bad are they?

Well, EntertainmentWise got some expert opinions off people who actually do know how to move.

Yep, Jordan Banjo and Perri Kiely from mega successful dance group Diversity, took it upon themselves to judge the boys dance moves.

Who do you think has the best moves in 1D? (If any of them…) Well, here’s what the guys had to say.

Forced to watch the boys video for ‘Kiss You’, EntertainmentWise grilled the boys on which dance moves were hot and which were SO NOT.

Referring to the clip of them on the surfboards looking so totally hot, Jordan said: “That actually wasn’t bad technique.”

“Do you know what that is something to watch out for okay so they’ve got a good wave.” he added.

And speaking of our all-time favourite part of cute Nialler dancing away in the shower getting wet ‘n’ wild, the pair said:

“Is that Niall in a shower? Ok that’s different, we’ve gone from the beach to Niall in a shower cap.”

What’s wrong with that? We likey.

After they had a good laugh, the boys admitted that Zayn is well and truly swag-ilicious: “That was more like rappin dancing, that was a bit more swagged out.”

A few hours later, Perri finally got the jist behind the boys making waves, as he commented: “I get what they’ve done now, wave on the beach, like waves!”

And then it was CRUNCH TIME! Which parts of the video were worth a gold star and which should never be seen again, ever?

The boys revealed: “I would say that the wave was actually pretty good. I’d probably keep the shower dancing in the shower.”

Aiming to squeeze every last bit of information out of them, EntertainmentWise quizzed Jordan and Perri on who’s the best mover, and they said: “Louis had some groove going on”

“Louis or possibly Zayn them two are pretty cool” they concluded.

It seems they’re also all about setting a new 1D trend, though dismissing any hope of teaching them some new moves: “They need to do Louis’ surfing move, that could be a trend for One Directioner’s right there.”

One Direction Tattoo Watch: Louis And Zayn Get Inked Again!

Not a week goes by these days without us having to write an article about the latest One Direction tattoos.

Well tattoos on a member or two of One Direction.

This time it was Louis and Zayn’s turn to add to their ever growing collection.

Tattoo artist Paul Natale had the enviable job of updating the boy’s ink and tweeted a picture of the boys looking through options for their next lot of ink.

Louis has gone for a rope around his wrist that almost looks like an infinity sign but is broken on the underside. Who knows what that means!

Meanwhile there are no pictures of what Zayn had done, some rumours are that he had a hashtag sign on his leg, but we’re still waiting for this to be confirmed.

Anyone thinking Zayn will stop there must be mistaken. He recently said in an interview: “All of my tattoos are based on my own art work. I want to fill up my entire right arm to my elbow to start off.”

Luckily for Zayn, girlfriend Perrie likes his increasing amounts of ink.

“Oh yeah! She likes my tatts. She’s into the whole rock ‘n’ roll look.”

One Direction Are The Most Popular People On Earth!

…According to starcount.com anyway.

Starcount post their list of the most popular celebs on earth every week, and this week it just so happens to be our very own One Direction boys!

Looking at last weeks results, the lads have jumped up a whopping 7 places to top the list this week.

Impressive, eh?!

The boys pulled Taylor Swift off her top spot, knocking her down to 5th place.

Starcount’s list holds some of the biggest artists including Miley Cyrus, Justin Bieber and Rihanna.

The stats change every week depending on what’s been going on in the social networking world.

Last week, Taylor Swift climbed to number 1 after gaining 750,000 new followers.

Whereas, this week saw the boys gain a whopping 1.4million new fans on their networks, taking them to the top spot.

That makes Swifty’s seem not-so-impressive really, doesn’t it? 

We personally think that Starcount’s most popular celebs list is awesome, and we just wish we’d have thought of it first

One Direction Insist Their ‘This Is Us’ Movie Is Totally Natural

One Direction’s highly anticipated movie, “This Is Us” will be released VERY VERY SOON.

We know all you Directioners out there are TOO excited to feast your eyes on what has been described as a ‘motion picture event’ .

However, 1D have been forced to reassure fans that the fly-on-the-wall / tour movie was not scripted.

Like the Katy Perry and Justin Bieber movies, 1D will hitting the big screen to capture some of the truths and behind the scenes moments they’ve been having.

They worked with Morgan Spurlock, who in the documentary circles is a bit of a legend after his famous McDonalds ‘Supersize Me’ film.

Louis said:

“No, nothing at all was scripted. You know if we are asked the questions… we just answer naturally.”

“Because I think that’s the most important part, that we show people who we are. And you know, to do that we can’t have anything scripted. So it’s all a reality.”

We wouldn’t want it to be anything other than natural, because that is when they are all their most hilarious! Remember the video diaries from X Factor?

Louis continued:

“That’s the cool thing about working with someone like Morgan. Because he is so hands-on and involved, you do kind of feel like you have full control of everything that is going on.”

Spurlock has said that the opportunity to work with the boys was unique for his career and he has apparently gotten to know them really well.

Liam Payne Shows Us His BRILLIAM Michael Jackson Dance Moves!

So you thought One Direction couldn’t dance?

Well you just HAVE to watch this video!

Firstly, Daddy Directioner treats us to a bit of totally brilliam shuffling, followed by some half splits.

Then Harry, feeling like he’s missing out, joins in with a quick spin.

Then if you fast forward to about 3:49 you get to see Liam doing the worm, and Harry shaking his shoulders.

The vid is from One Direction’s concert in Raleigh on Saturday 22nd June, and as well as the kickass dancing also features all of the Twitter questions too.

The actual questions were:

Liam, Zayn, Niall, Louis And Harry Do A Hilarious Sketch On Jimmy Kimmel

One Direction are known for being jokers and have had some very funny moments over their past 3 years in the industry.

Ranging from their original video diaries from the X Factor, to that amazing Nickelodeon skit with the fake pregnant woman – they have all been fantastic.

But this time the boys did a really great skit for late night talk show ‘Jimmy Kimmel’.

It is called the Skype Scavenger Hunt and Jimmy basically asks them to find an item or complete a task.

Their first thing to do was to run to the bathroom and give themselves a toothpaste moustache or any other type of hair.

The teams were Harry, Liam and Zayn against Niall and Louis. Not the pairing we would have expected – but it was still hilarious all the same.

Jimmy declared Louis and Niall the winner of the first round, which saw Nialler lather blue toothpaste all over his upper lip.

The next challenge was to talk in an American accent and the best effort won.

Harry nailed it with his impersonation, with a really well timed “I live in the valley” comment.

In the end Harry’s team won that round.

The final round, brace yourselves, was to leave and come back wearing their underwear over their trousers.

Harry decided just to come back with no jeans on at all, so Jimmy gave that round to his team.

All in all, a really funny thing to watch. Jimmy also have Liam, Harry and Zayn purity rings for their efforts – but we think they all did well.

South America Concert Tickets On Sale Monday 24th June, Watch 1D Tell You All About It

One Direction have made a series of short videos letting all you South American directioners know that tickets for next years ‘Where We Are Tour’ go on sale tomorrow morning.

The boys have made a separate video for each country – Brasil, Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Uruguay and Peru.

The Brasilian video goes:

“BRASIIIIIILLLLLL!”

“Tickets go on sale 24th June 12:01am – we can’t wait to see you. See you there!”

Followed by a load of muffled talk that we can’t quite work out.

Last night, the lads played a concert in Raleigh, North Carolina, and tonight they’re in Washington at the DC Verizon Center. They’ve been in the USA for just under 2 weeks now since kicking off their North America tour in Mexico on Saturday June 8th.

PERRIE PERRIE: Nandos Launch A Special One Direction Themed Menu

Those cool dudes over at Nandos have launched a special One Direction menu to celebrate the band’s gig in Washington tonight.

Each of the 1D boys have got their own menu which is a copy of what the lads ordered on their recent Nandos visit.

@NandosUSA tweeted the following:

“We’ve put together a special menu for #1DinDC. Come by Nando’s 7th St tomorrow to order @OneDirection’s favorites! pic.twitter.com/b7j7WAKvfj”

The menu says:

Five directions to mouthwatering Peri-Peri chicken! Taste your favorite’s favorite ‘One Thing’.

1. The Harry

A wrap with double chicken breast basted with Mango & Lime Peri-Peri sauce, with fresh green leaf lettuce, peppery sweet chilli jam, tangy yoghurt sauce, plus grilled pineapple and cheddar cheese.

2. The Liam

One Direction’s “This is Us” Trailer Sneak Peek!

A new trailer sneak peek has been released for the boys’ upcoming biographical movie, “This is Us”!

Based on this trailer, we’re going to see so much fun behind the scenes footage of the boys. Some funny moments that stuck out in the trailer: Niall trying to figure out how to eat some foreign country’s finest delicacies, Harry visiting the bakery he worked at in Cheshire, and Liam catching a very interesting fish!

Italian Directioners hurrasi One Direction on voittaa “Best Band ‘at Italian MTV Awards viime yönä.

Which translated in English means:

“Italian Directioners cheered One Direction on to win ‘Best Band’ at the Italian MTV Awards last night”

Management Insist Harry Styles IS NOT LEAVING THE BAND – Woop Woop ;)

On Friday a previously unheard track by Harry Styles hit the internet, which sparked off the rumours about Hazza leaving the band.

We stated there and then it wasn’t true, and wrote the following article about the band having a 5 year contract.

Now an official spokesperson for One Direction has come out and said the following:

“It’s an old song from a year-and-a-half ago and was a demo for a possible 1D album track. It’s not a solo song, nothing to get excited about.”

The track, titled “Don’t Let Me Go” was written by a close friend of Harry’s – Sam McCarthy, and was apparently recorded last year

When the song hit Twitter on Friday, songwriter Sam McCarthy started getting loads of positive tweets about it, and he tweeted in reply:

“Wow! Thanks for all the nice tweets about the song. Harry did most of the words I did the music. X.”

Gossip mongerer Perez Hilton has previously said he thinks Zayn Malik will be the first one to leave the band, but the appearance of this new song sung by Harry along has got tongues wagging again.

Most fans seem to love the song, though you can tell from listening to it that it’s just a demo, and not a final version. With 1D set to release their first movie in just over 2 months time followed by their third album later this year, the band are here to stay.

So a couple of the One Direction boys decided they’d go for a cool down in some pool in Miami.
